What is Oli Caimari?

Oli Caimari is an extra virgin olive oil produced in the Serra de Tramuntana, Mallorca, that reflects the character of the landscape and the local varieties. Its coupage combines Picual, Mallorquina, Arbequina and Cornicabra, giving an oil with an intense aroma, fruity notes and a slight peppery finish that makes it especially good raw.

What makes Oli Caimari special? Quality starts with early harvest and cold milling, techniques that preserve volatile aromas and natural antioxidants. In the mouth there is a balance between softness and character: a fruity entry, herbal notes and a slightly bitter-peppery finish that goes very well with Mediterranean recipes.

Sensory profile and uses

Medium-to-high oiliness, a colour between golden and pale green, and an aroma reminiscent of fresh olives, grass and green fruit. We recommend using it raw on pa amb oli, salads, roasted vegetables and fish. It is also excellent for finishing hot dishes: a spoonful at the end brings out the flavours.

How to store it

Keep the bottle in a cool, dark place away from heat sources, and ideally use it within 12 months of the harvest. A 250 ml bottle is ideal for home use, as it keeps the product better once opened.

Recommended pairings

Ripe tomatoes and rustic bread; fresh cheeses; grilled vegetables; baked fish dishes. For an authentic Mallorcan experience, combine it with our aromatic sea salts and a traditional MUNAR pâté on a tasting board.
